Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a suitable method to visualize Fat and water distribution in a given substance without perturbing the physical state. The Images here represents water and oil distribution in a sand rock phantom. Images were obtained using T2 and T1 contrast imaging techniques on a 1T permanent magnet Aspect Imaging system equipped with 105mm (ID) high performance gradient and 55mm (ID) RF coils (made by Doty Scientific Inc.).
